Refueling - At the track

at our track refuelling as become a bit of discussion point as most people fill from jerry cans /funnels 'hoses ect ect ..while there has never been a accident in the pits due to fuel
we still get the odd dickhead who will smoke in the pits despite all the signs ect saying not allowed ..
we now have a refuelling area that's coned and roped off where only one car at a time is allowed . while still using jerry cans you don't have to worry about some bloke with a smoke you must keep your own fire extinguisher in reach as well as ones provided in the area ..this all started due to a insurance audit of the dirt tracks around south Australia in dirt circuit ..
as been a member on the clubs committee we have to be seen as been proactive and we still catch the odd idiot trying to fill outside the area but I think the message is sinking in. that's a nice set up spooky....pic of me having fun cheers deano
