Default Does anyone Recognise the origons of this Chassis

G'day,

I have brought a car that has been through several owners and never completed. It has an Laurie Bongalis body, but Adam says its not one of his chassis. The previous owner has done some above chassis welding that looks poor, but the main chassis looks professionally done, and is powder coated.

I will attach some photos. Any help to identify would be great. Apparently it was brought from Melbourne 12 years ago, and had a sister car that was supposedly completed.

It has Jag suspension front and rear, but doesn't use jag subframe. It also has Jag power steering rack and was supposed to be setup for a XR8 engine.

Any help would be appreciated.

I have an early RMC and I agree that parts of the chassis look similar but there are a lot of differences too - may have been home mods - but I am reluctant to call it as a RMC.

Default Chassis pics - G-Force

Paul

These photos are of my G-Force chassis, which was a part take off from RMC.

This chassis was sold new to the original owner circa February 1997 so I think the G-Force chassis had been refined somewhat from anything build say around the start of the 90's.

I say that as your chassis appears very basic in set up and rudimentary in design but that's not to say it can't work.

Hope this might be of some help.

Cheers

Steve

Reminds me of a RMC single stacker chassis. The RMC series 3 is a double stacker chassis to comply with tough Queensland Regulations.
