That's surprising since the Cobra isn't a hot item for car thieves (a bit to visable I'm told).

Cheers

Alvin,

I have been with Great Americian for years and have no complaints at all. Both cars are covered for an agreed value and they will pay that value if the car is stolen or otherwise totaled. I have never in my life turned in any cliam to any car insurance carrier so that may have helped me plus I had several years seat time when I insured with them in 1997 I think it was. If you want to talk to them their number is 1-800-397-0765.

Alvin,
I have been with Shannons for 4 years now and my policy definatly covers for theft, accident, fire and at an extra cost they will even cover for racing.

Bryan

Maybe call a broker? Brokers for a fee will ring around their contacts and do all the work for you in finding the best policy for your needs.

Try Wayne Cadman and Associates in Tamworth (and/or Gunnedah). They are agents for them all and do my Harley and Cobra, both incidently through Shannons. And YES i get theft.

cheers,

The Australian Classic Car magazine Feb 2003 (Cobra's on the cover) has ads from NRMA and RACV insurance inside. Even have an add on the cobra poster which reads "Veteran, Vintage & Classic Vehicle Insurance" Call 1800 646 605

How about regular car insurance??
I just received my re-newal for 2003 and it went up $500!!
How's $2200 a year for a 1999 S10 blazer(my wifes) and a 2000 S10 pickup(mine)?

I have one fender-bender that is three years old and cost the insurance company a total of $4500 for both parties involved.

Considering we have our house and umbrella policy with the same company, the increase is uncalled for!

I better buy a bicycle.
