I have a bit of an obsession with clean fuel. I asked Scott to mount my main fuel filter (The one that goes between the fuel tank and the high pressure fuel pumps). He was expecting some little 3" x 2" cylindrical filter, and I turned up with the monster shown below. He was heard to mutter something about donkey's anatomy.... 
From there, the fuel goes into the two main pumps - which each have their own filters - and there's another Bosch brand of filter after these pumps. Clean fuel is good fuel!!!
My main filter is an Afco brand. They come with either a stainless or paper style filtering element. The stainless is cleanable and therefore obviously replaceable. While it doesn't filter below 10 microns, it really is all you'll need. http://www.secureperformanceorder.co...ProductID=2672
