Thanks skip, got the photos off the video camera so there's heap more.
Mostly of my car though, so I didn't want to get to carried away.
Hopefully a few of the other guys that went will have some pics.

Holden Torana's were built from the late 60's through to the late 70's mostly 4 and 6 cyl mid-size car. Holden built a few hot race versions through the years one of them being the a9x. Peter Brock won at Bathhust in one back in the 70s. (I think).

REPTYL,

Thats right just interesting how you used the torana component on the cobra. struth our American friends wont have a clue what we are talking about.

If you care i started collecting Aussie cars from TRAX. I tell you what brings back a few memories. Being a Sydney boy i'm more inclined for Brocky than that nut case Queenslander fella (lost his name) but i'm sure our Norhtern lads wil remind me.

Love Cobra pics matey if they are all yours, no worries for me.

I'll have plenty when i get mine next week.

So what was the fella's name again ?

Skippy

I have one of his DJR G-String dust masks at home.

Hahahahah,

Oh god what till the Queenslanders get a sniff of that.

Is tricky Dickie still racing. I saw on Cable here, Brocky racing around in the new Holden pushing aside all the porsche and Ferrari drivers.

Skippy.

Damn i'm home sick already.

Default Oi!!

What you two on about....how can you forget one of the greatest Ford pilots of all time? Dick Johnson.

But..seeing those AU9 pics remind me of when I used to go to lakeside....first there was a fella who piloted a heap of great muscle cars..Norm Beechie, who used to race with an albow on the window sill of the mustang just like he was on a sunday drive..Bob Jane of course...very quick...French in the Lotus Cortina I think..and, although I dont like him at all, he was one hell of a driver..the infamous Leo (however you spell his name) )

I'm a bit older than you fellas so I can remember when the Mini Minors were knockin off the mustangs and big muscle cars around a tight course and that includes that Holden peddlin Brock fella

Jason...looks like you got some flat spots on the tyres now mate.

Send more pics...love these action shots even if they are only of your car

Old dicky gave it away years ago.
He was sick of getting his arse kicked by brocky and all his Victorian mates.

Those Queenslanders are sooks mate.
Stopped the great race back in 81 'cause he ran over a little pebble.
Only way they could get a QLD'er on the podium.

Reptyl: Let us know when we can check out your videos.

Did some one say they were going to enter this years RUN/GUN.

Would like to be updated on that. Hmmmm a cobra with a Roo bar.

Skippy.

Default Great pics

Love em Jason.....Whats I like more is that your lady looks like she can peddle that thing.

Isn't it great to see the girls enjoying all the thrills of driving these things.

Now..I'm not gonna ask who is the better driver....but Judy doesn't seem to be burning the rubber off that thing or gettin it all twisted up.

Like ya olde man said Judy..you go Girl!!

You all take care

Hey,

Did we all notice the control and lack of tyre smoke as Judy skillfully makes her way around the hats.

Whoa and that big as she makes her way through.

Could this be a family battle for the car.

Sorry Brocky has already done that with his wife. You guessed it she beat him also Sorry but you were looking the wrong way jason.

Looks like fun up there. Will be there next year for sure.

Left a post on another thread there saying that I will run the car tomorrow - Saturday - around the Thomastown factories.

Ran the cam in today and found the side pipes very noisy will need to go to big 36 " hot dogs. Who has these - I want good quality dogs though.

Any thoughts.

I will be taking a helmet and suite to the 'Run N Gun' and have organised a drive whilst there. Have been talking with an owner in Chicago.

Cheers, must go

Bernie
