Default BERN' Baby BERN'

Bernie my friend, if you can flip a burger you can post a picture

I think this one's my favorite.

I think we've all sat in our beast at this same stage late at night making broom broom sounds.

Oops! Or maybe I'm the only one

I was just kidding guys.....Broom-broom sounds. ha...very immature...and a little strange for a grown man.

Best be gone now

How are you going to get those size 42 red shoes in to those foot wells, Bernie

I think you should have another roll bar. Paint them gold.
Paint the car yellow with red stripes and right it of as a company car.

Then you wouldn't need the little red rocket any more.
You could give that to those crazy QLD guys. They could mid-mount a Quadruple supercharged 700 Cubic inch power plant in the hatch.
Only QLD boys would do such a thing (something to do with inadequate penis size I think)

Sorry guys it's been to many nice posts in a row.
I needed to hang some s**t, or the Vic boys will think I've gone soft.

Hey

The serious look on my face ??

I was just asked if I could see over the air cleaner

Have made a hell of a lot of progress since the photos. Took it for spin around the factories yesterday.

Hell its like driving a big Go Kart without the body. I am really close to the ground.

The noise from the exhaust is very loud but will get quite as I get more and more deaf

Mentioned on the other 'Thread' that I am going to bring the car to Wakefield park in white Gel coat to give it a good shake down.

The painter has also suggested that a few months of sun light will do the glass good as it will settle down.... ....
Then I can take it off the road and paint it.

I think he is spinning me a line

Must go

Cheers

Default "I think he is spinning me a line "

No he's not Bernie....best thing you can do is weather the glass. Make sure you give the body a good wash to remove the mold release agents.

It is a good idea to let the body "settle" before painting. What will happen is the glass will take up a shape that may or may not include some hollow (or high) spots. These of course will be filled by your painter prior to putting the shiny stuff on it.

The other aspect is the likelyhood of bubbles under the gel-coat. weathering from the elements will help these erupt prior to painting.

Few years back a mate purchased an RMC and painted the body within a month of getting it...after 6 months it looked like an anorexic Victorian hooker with a bad case of acne ..not a good look

Leastwise..not a good look by Banana benders standards.

Thanks guys but I cannot see the comparison between Hookers and...

Then again there is a lot of satifaction in building a car.

I am in the process of spraying flat black - KH - stripes on the car and flat yellow - KH - stripes over the guard.

Hope this will take the Gel coat look away.

Will cover the car in stickers - old style - on the guards.

Will post pictures. Help Jason

See you

Bernie

Default Oi Bernie?

You mean KH as in spray can stuff.....rattle cans to our American friends...that will be a good look

Cobras and hookers have a lot in common Bernie..

They are both very curvy
They both require money
They both handle well
They both draw a lot of attention
They both are easy to into and out of
and lastly...

They both go from go to whoa in no time even if you got a small block

You all take care

Hookers

I think the car may be cheaper though.

Warnie has more Hookers wanting money than most.

(Read Aussie cricketer with a high mobile phone bill )

Bet he wished he spent his spare time reading Kit Car than on the mobile phone.

Cars don't answer back eitherrrrrrrrr.

Or do they!!

Cheers

Default You betcha Bernie.

The car has got to be cheaper mate.

Warnie....you mean our very own spin bowler... I think he can spin a yarn as well as he can spin a cricket ball.

Tell ya what tho....that stripper wasnt all that bad looking...definitely not the normal Victorian type.

Me first!!!! the rest of you can stand in line..be warned tho...at my age it takes me all night to do what I used to do all night.

You all take care
