Hi Bryan, you do NOT need a cams license for the nationals. You will be asked to complete a wakefield Park License which costs $30 for the weekend and covers your / their public liability insurance. Some guys have a 2a Cams license but this does NOT replace the Wakefield Park License.
See you there.

Non cobra's have competed in the past. I understand there are a number of exotics this year lambo etc . Not really a non cobra weekend unles you had some form of race car or classic. Last year we had one TT Audi coupe, some people were a bit pissed that this guy was making up the numbers in the que.
I think the rules only state you need to be a cobra club member, so you could enter. Entries closed on 15 Sept but they may still take late entries.

Theres nothing wrong with your car Pete, one of the neatest cars around.
Bryan, Pete didnt actually help you out, he just eliminated you as competition at the Nats!

Thanks Bryan - will do
At this stage will be at McDonald's Racing on Thursday for a check of everything prior to going to Wakefield Park Raceway..
Will call you during the day as I will return to Geelong on Thursday night.
Could not make Sunday at Heathcote Park Raceway as I am not happy with the radiator fan. So will give the engine a run and check the thermos today
( Sunday ) instead.
Cheers
Bernie

There are 3-4 Cobras leaving from Lilydale at about 7.00am Friday morning, maybe we could catch up out on the Hume somewhere. We are going up through Yea and Benalla.
