Default Aussies - how did you find out about Club Cobra?

I'm interested to see how you came about visiting Club Cobra.

Myself, I started out on Mustang USA forums (saleen.com then corral.net), and from there and search engines, I found out a bit about the cobra sites.

Started at cobraforum.com - it folded about 6 months ago
Looked in here at ClubCobra nearly 6 years ago, and have seen it grow from strength to strength since.

Now - all that PCC, Rebel1, OZVENOM, myself and other Qlders need to do is get the Qld numbers up and above the Victorians...

I was actually introduced by a Victorian!

Gave one away to the QLDers there.

Thanks Alvin, and have you sold those wheels yet?

I used to hang around at cobraforum.com until acouple of years ago, I asked a question and was steered over this way by DV as a suggestion for answers to my questions.
I found this site alot more helpfull and just kinda hung around.
I found cobraforum.com from a search engine.
As Craig has stated it seemed to just close up about 6 monthes ago, I dont know why as I hadnt been back there in along time

Search engine for me too. Used to spend a lot of time on the bike forums but when the Cobra bug bit hard I started looking for some like minded fellows.

Cheers

Found the site years ago while doing random Cobra searches.
Never really got in to the "forum thing" in the past thou.

Bernie mentioned that there were quite a few Vic members on the site so I jumped on to check it out, and he was right.

The first couple of posts I came across had all the Queensland blokes giving the Vic’s a hard time,
so I thought I'd bolster the numbers. (the rest is history).

Ozcobra introduced me. Pity he has hardly been around since. Met some great people through here. And some Queenslanders as well!

Andy.

Default OZphoto

I can only dream of cable or adsl.
Telstra can't even guarantee me a speed of 28k.

Maybe I can be of assistance (with the photo)

Thanks for the photo, Jason.

Look at all of those stickers on the car!!! I reckon there's another .5 of a second at Wakefield in the weight savings alone if he removed all those stickers!

Hi all

Just a short Post

Unusual for me

Hersh said to say Hi to you all.

Cheers Craig, Scott and Mike for Hersh.

Was doing very well in his GT40 until he broke a tooth off 1st gear on his second run.

First run saw wheel spin a missed gear and a result of 13.4

Hi all,

Just thought I would move this Thread to the top of the page.

Seriously, I thought that I would say Hi to everyone for Hersh.
btsnake says '...Hi'

He says Hi and will no doubt be reading this.

It as was fantastic catching up with Hersh and Robert Logan from Roarin' Forties. The two 40's cars really were great to watch and ran good times.

Hersh has a story to tell about the new braking system that he has introduced. Kinda like a giant fibreglass parachute.

Pulls you up really quickly.

Sorry no more stories out of school.

What happenes at the 'Run 'N Gun' stays at the 'Run 'N Gun'.

Oh yeah, sure .. Do you want to see photos.

See you all, must get back to work.
