Default Brisbane Bayside Meet - PICS.

It was good to meet up with those that made it to Wello Point today. I had a great day, and I'm sure everyone else did too.

Jeez - what a feed..... I think I've found the new "best BBQ hosts in Queensland" Thanks go to Peter and his lovely wife for a wonderful afternoon!

Tell ya wot Craig..I think I had one too many coldies.

Maybe I should get out more often....But thats the first time I've seen a three lane surburban street....

AND...The local council marks em with black paint.

Didnt notice it till I was leaving but there are two, very heavy..very distinct..well defined black lines down the middle of that road.

Thank heavens a local resident is a civil engineer. Maybe he can get em to use white lines in future

Are they those new "scented" lines that smell a little like tyres?

I don't know anything about those.....

Yeah - I think the machine that applies the black lines is a little louder than the white line machine too.... I hope I didn't give Jade a fright

Well, I now have to live with the memory of seeing those tyre marks for quite some time. I'll try and extend them down the hill.

Dominic say's thats the best trip he's ever taken.

Mind you he is yet to ride in the "low rider".

Good to meet up with you all and look forward to catching up in the future.

And Scott, thanks for the new zipped crownie cooler. You didn't have to donate it, but what the hell I'll use it until you claim it back.

Kinda like a tag team, we could set a Guiness Book World Record for longest team burnout marks. Given enough time, we'd probably even have them extending to Bracken Ridge

Peter - if you could get some of your kids down to Sanctuary Cove next Sunday, I bet they could get into a few different cars for some longer drives. I'm sure there'll be a club run afterwards - usually somewhere into the mountains. Hope you can make it.

I may get an extra one in the boot - we'll see.

What's the refidex co-ordinates and I'll be there?

By the way - how long do the tryes last or is it you really want to run on slicks?

Pete, you wouldn't be a true Brit without a bottle of HP sauce around the house. Our family left the UK when I was 5 and it's still a favourite. Old habits die hard.

Speaking of a source of extra HP... Scott, I'll be dropping a tin of V8 Vegetable juice in your gas tank at next years nationals.

Looks like you guys had a great time, wish I was there.

The warmer weather is on it's way down here so I reckon we'll be doing a bit more socialising. The latest Vic club calender looks pretty full for the next month or two.

Good to hear you are out enjoying your Cobra Craig.

Cheers
