Hi Scott,

Good work on getting the Supra box in. Hopefully this one will be up to the challenge that little monster motor deals out.

Is the Supra box a double overdrive unit like the T56?

I thought you had a fancy Japanese twin plate clutch?

Cheers

Talking $$$$

Hi mike no its only 6th that is a od . great fun to drive keep rowing thru the gears.
the twin plate clutch is $1800 and i just didnt have the $ at the moment so i had the single plate moded its now got 2800 lbs of clamp and a 5 button solid centre plate.
Now we see if it will hold 1500lbs of torque.

Scott - I've been avoiding you, hoping that you'd forget about that great cobra book I borrowed a couple of weeks ago....

I'm supposed to be meeting some people in Maleny at lunchtime on Saturday. If I'm back early enough, I'll give you a call. What time are you leaving?

Bummer about the first Supra box... Was there much chassis work to get the 6 speed in the Harrison? 1500lb torque? Have you gone and fitted a Top Alcohol engine into the Cobra??? (Just kidding - I know you meant tractive effort at the tyres!)

So when's this beast of a thing going to run past those permanent road treads made by that fella in that blue Cobra with the inverted boogie board on its front?

If you do, call in for a drink (cursery call 10 minutes before arriving would be good).
