Thumbs up Super Southern Swap Meet

Hi Guys,

Just thought I'd remind you that the Ballarat Swap Meet is happening On February 20th, 21st and 22nd.

Super Southern Swap Meet

This one is a monster and is officially the biggest down under. Me and a friend will probably have a site there for one of the days maybe two. It's definitely worth a look of you are into twirling your own wrenches as there is a ton of stuff there.

I've been hooked on swap meets for years and it's great fun looking through all the junk/goodies, You can pick up some real bargains and find those odd parts you've been after. It's a good place to talk cars and crap to a wide variety of enthusiasts.

Cheers

Hi Mike

Just read that they are still allowing cars onto the bitumen runway between the trade sites.

Enter via normal road entry and take the far entrance gate. You stay on the road rather than drive into the public grass paddock. No charge to display and just pay the normal entry cost.

The large marque will feature a number of exhibitors including Graffitti Publications, Bradford Badges, Thompson Rubber products and some electrical suppliers.

May be worth having a run there and display.

I am currently talking with a local sign writer about making a small vinyl Cobra Club banner using generic Cobra photos. See what he comes up with.

Cheers

Bernie

They had an add in the Australian Street Rod magazine today February/March edition.

I phonned them and they are keen to have cars on the bitumen runway. But they must be for sale.

I questionned them regarding the display area and they appear to now want this for sellers.

The guy I spoke to suggested that we turn up and we may get in.. However I don't fancy taking the chance on being parked out in the dirt/dust in the paddock parking.

Will follow up closer to the day.

Cheers
