Default EFI Engines

With the carby motors its a little easier to make the engine bay shine, but what do you do with a EFI engine to make it stand out?

I've spent a relatively small amount to tidy things up, but would be interested to see what anyone else has done to smarten the engine bay up?

Look forward to viewing some interesting pics.

Peter,

This is what I have done so far, braided hose and polished plenum.
Since this photo I have added new plug leads and polished air intake.

Thanks
Stuart

Stuart,

That is one tidy engine.

Where did you get the plenum polished like that?

That's exactly what mine needs.

Peter,

I did it myself. I started with paint stripper.

I then attatched a alloy polisher to my drill, once the surface was smooth enough I used wet & dry.

Finally a good polish with a good alloy polish, alot of work but well worth it in the end.

Thanks
Stuart

Barry

Sorry to high jack this Thread.

Got the 3M product from Queensland OK.

Will put on on once painted. Will Post photos when done.

Back to the Thread

Like the polished look also. Polished rocker covers look great also. About to polish the alternator and brackets soon on my Cobra.

Cheers

Bernie

Plenty of black and silver in there Garrett, but I think you must have shrunk the pic a little bit too much.

Unless its one of those nitro gas model cars.

Talking about model cars, I've just bought one for my son....

Scale 1:10 Ford F150 pickup with nitro. Speeds upto 85kph and better acceleration than the Cobra. Only problem is that the legroom is a little tight (sounds very much like a Cobra)!
