Question Rear Reflectors

Hi All,

Just wondering if there is a specific diameter or size and shape for the rear plastic relflector that sits near the brake lights.
I have seen quite a few different sizes and shapes - but what will get through Motor Registration in most states?

I was hoping to use the 52mm diameter but would like to check before I buy.

Regards
Lyn

The ADR's last time I looked (1999) didn't specify a minimum size or location for the rear reflectors.

You can use any red reflectors as long as they have an E marked on them. In my case there was no E marked on the reflectors themselfs but the packaging they came in said that they complied to the relevant ADR. I just took the box along with me to the engineer and showed him for proof.

Hi Lyn,

The DRB Manual says "2 red rear reflectors 350mm minimum height"

www.hella.com.au

Hella has various reflectors with ADR approval paperwork.

Regards

Cameron
