I looked into getting a Aluminium block for my new car. Buck's for benefit, I didn't feel stacked up.

I would be better served going on a diet

My $0.02

All well and good guy's but spare a thought for those who got so close to up and running then to have ADR'S change. I for one had fuel tank built and EFI hooked up only to be told " If you know someone with a boat maybe the could use a new anchor" Then had to spend another 2 grand on converting to gas to satisfy the powers to be. Anyway Carrol did'nt build a Chev Cobra.

It'll be interesting to see how the "Chevy crap" goes against the big tuff Fords.

boxhead: The Vette was already out when CS went to them. That's why they turned him down (didn't want / need another 2-seater sports car).
As far as the dark side is concerned...............heck, even Ol' Shel went to Chevy first! Just think what the Cobra would have done with a screamin' L-88 427, or, dare I think it........a ZL-1 all alum 427 monster. YIKES!!!!!
Coulda'......woulda'......shoulda.
