Not Ranked
I had 67COB on my old car, but I went with some non-Cobra plates this time. The ones I have on the new car were reissues based on the plates that were originally issued in 1921. There was a number plated auction back in 1988, and this was the first opportunity for people to have the old style plates fitted to new cars. The guy at Qld Transport offered me "many" times more than what I paid for them when I registered the car, and I've had higher and higher offers ever since. They are about the only thing that I've ever bought that have actually increased in value !!!
