Unhappy Goodyear bluestreaks

Does anyone know where I can get a set of second hand Bluestreaks so that I can put them on my rims and see if they fit on my car or not?? I don't want to have to order a new set and find out they don't fit! I noticed Warren Jenkins had them on his 429 Robnell and they seem to fit perfectly!, only thing is I believe the chassis varies from 302 to 429, don't know if this is the case but I'd sure like to try them before I buy them! Will look at second hand ones as well if there are any around!

Help!

Stef

Stef,

You're not wanting to put the goodyears on a street car are you?

If so, don't - they are as sticky as hell and won't last 5 minutes.

Check out the US Site's and do a search on them - there is plenty of information there.

Peter, thanks for the info, when you say won't last 5 minutes, how many Klm's would that be approx? I guess I just want them more for the look than track or anything! Have you had any experience with them on your car?

I don't know. just like them I guess!

Stef

There are a cross ply Steff and so will not travel far.

Known as blue dots in the states.

Also very sticky (very soft compound)

Not really made for street driving.

More suited to track work.

Do look very nice, but hardly practical.
