Any QLDer's took their Cobra's down today for the driver's parade?

The $270 x 2 put me off.

Hope the heat doesn't play havoc tomorrow.

Did Scott drive around the track with his front off? I can just imagine the comments - what a larrikin !!! I didn't see the Sunday parade, but I did see some familiar faces on the Saturday telecast. I figured I was better off financially to watch the race on TV, and go for a drive in the Cobra with Dad around Mount Coot-tha and Mount Crosby during the morning.

It's always great to go for a cruise with Dad, but then again an Indy girl would have been much better to look at !

Yep he had his front on full display - looked huge!

Obviously competing against the 900HP Corvette

I thought the same as you - TV and a drive.

Had my own Indy girl on board (Jackie)

Pete's beautiful gold DRB lined up in the pits for Saturday V8 Supercar drivers parade.

Pete was pretty stoked when Craig Lowndes wanted to swap with Paul Weel and go in the gold Cobra. Craig ended up settling for a test fit in the drivers seat.

Craig Lowndes "Wow, this Cobra is awesome. Now I can handle the Paul Weel lettering on the windscreen, but does the gorgeous Indy girl come with the car or is she an optional accessory."

Well I reckon that's what he said.

Scott only did Sunday with his front off. He was very respectable on Saturday and kept it on.

Shot from Sunday of Scott's naked front. Taken from staging area, just before they enter the track.

Scott(OzVenom) Cobra is for sale.

And finally Lee with one of the Indy girls.

Tough to pick out which photos to post, so many good ones. Thanks to Pete(Gold Cobra) for taking all photos included here.

Craig Lowndes spent a lot of time talking with Bryan COB66 at the launch of the Geelong Speedtrials a few years back.

He is very keen on the Cobras and from memory, I think photos were taken of Craig in Bryans Cobra...

Perhaps bryan will chime in here..

Talking if you got it flawnt it

Hey guys yep it sure was fun . the indy crews liked it i said it was as close to an open wheeler as i could get it.

The indy girls were very nice . my eyeballs got sunburnt and my tongue got gravel rash.

only down side was we missed the v8's running both days.

we also got to cut loose a bit once we droped off the drivers.
