Jag Diff Conversion 3.07 to 3.54

G'day!

I've got a S3 XJ6 rear end. The diff is an open spinner 3.07 ratio.

This ratio is too low for the AOD I will use so I need to lower the ratio to 3.54.

I've sourced the gear set and carrier for a 3.54 LSD from a XJ40, used for $450.

I know stuff all about Jag diffs but the seller tells me I can convert the open spinner 3.07 to 3.54 LSD using the diff housing of the 3.07.

Is this correct? I don't want to waste $450!

The conversion is not something I will do myself.
