Exclamation Telephone warning

Now thinking of numbers.

This is 154

154

Now they tell me there's a guy who is ringing homes and business telephones and stating that he is a Telstra technician.

He wants you to do a basic line check.

He asks you to check the line by pressing the keys; 9 0 and # in that sequence.

Don't press 90#......

This then gives him direct access to your telephone line. You are giving him an opportunity to ring anywhere in the world for free.

This came through on an inter company regional memo at my Caltex garage yesterday. My friend there showed me the memo. It was marked "Telephone Warning".

Will talk to one of my Telstra customers today to find out what this is about.

In the interim if someone rings you and asks you to do this tell them to FCK OFF.

Anyway the number is now 154...

Bernie

Boxhead,

welcome back, hope you had a great holiday. Your battery box is in for engraving.

158 keeping the insanity alive.

See that Harrop have developed a PD blower for the LS1. Now that would be insane

That would be a great chrissy present to me

Been off doing baby stuff for a while, come back and see this thread!

This is getting better as it goes on!

Gotta put my number in, 166!

You've got to be in it to win it!

Flip...Phil....wots this mow the lawn thingy. ..I hate the lawn.

My lawn has cost be more than whats it's worth. I gotta buy a new mower every couple of years.

Soon as the old mower gets hard to start...the missus wakes me up to come start it for her. Pi$$es me right off I tell ya!

Stef...thats good news about the car mate....with a bit of luck you'll have the car before ya wife conceives again.

You wont be interested in anything besides the car once ya got it.
