Phil, I wish it was so!

First, sorry for the late reply, lightening had a strange effect upon my modem.

Where I am up to is this;

Purchased LS6 ZO6 Corvette motor with 6 speed T56. Brand new 2004 model, with computer loom etc etc. As we type it is in customs Australia. Hoping to get it before Christmas.

I have obtained all the relevant pollution statistics / printouts etc for this exact engine and car as is used in California and exported to Europe. Received most of these via freedom of information in America and a couple of helpful people in American vehicle exports. I have given all these to my Engineering Signatory and he say all is OK. It has better emission levels than are required by Euro III. So in theory it will pass the RTA inspection and requirements.

The reason for going this road is 1, individuality and 2, It was cheaper to import this high performance LS6 300kw factory standard than buy a local LS1. Go figure!

So I remain optimistically hopeful of registration.

Thanks for update. Hope the approval process goes smoothly , it would be a nice Chrissy present to have that all resolved and you can get on with the next fun part.
