Default What a great day for a Club cruise !

Dad and I have just returned from one of our more memorable drives. After the monthly breakfast at Sanctuary Cove, half a dozen Cobras and a GT40 went for a little impromptu cruise in the country. We found some great sweeping corners that opened up into long straights, and very little traffic.

Had a GT40 go past you at 6000+rpm lately ? Rear engined cars sound fantastic when they're working hard !!!

We stopped for a cool drink, listened to everyone's tall stories, had a laugh, then headed home. Dad and I were both saying how nice it was to take the cars on a less travelled road away from the boring Motorway, where you could feel the suspension loading up through heavily cambered corners and actually use the brakes a little bit. I'd pretty much got myself stuck in a rut of only driving the Cobra on the 4 lane roads lately, but I've got a taste for the little backroads now

Disclaimer : ...... or was this all just a figment of my imagination?

What is it about GT40s and their need to use all of the road to straighten out the corners ?!?

Sure are some great pics there Craig, Looks like it was a beautiful day for a drive, no wonder it was a spur of the moment thing, you couldnt let a day that nice idle away.

Thumbs up

We feel like the pied piper leading a pile of cobras etc up the garden path and there's plenty more to do too---Soooo just give pied piper tours the nod --after breakfast runs , lunch runs , twilight tours etc 'cause we enjoy them too.
PS Craig, don't follow GT40s to close as you'll be sprayed in stones or have your paint sinjed (burnt)
Happy New Year Everyone!!!
