Garret I can hear the gears in your brain from here in cyber space!

2006 corvette is still using the six speed manual. The LS7 block is a modified gen4 Anything that fits to the back of a gen3 should (I assume) fit to a gen4. Don't know if GM are offering an auto option with the 06 'vette.
