Im current colour thinking is dark siver\titanium with a silver stripe. I seem to remember seeing or reading that someone in here was thinking a similar color scheme. Anyone ever seen any pics of a scheme like that?

Cheers,
Andrew

Just had a look through your gallery...thats where I saw it. Nice. In the paint sample photo, the stripe looks a little more "champagne" then silver, just the lighting?

As your in another state am I still allowed to steal your colour? (Thats a little like the old "if your in another post code its not cheating" excuse )

No worries Andrew, there is a small annual royalty though The stripe is like titanium and the pic I posted is not really all that close to what I have come up with. Both colors are not standard but have been made up from scratch, using all standox undercoat, polyester, paint and clear. I am not happy with the timing but the result on the panels so far is awesome. (I think anyway) Shame I wont make Winton though.

All the interior will be black.
Seats still sit higher than I really wanted them to but I will talk to the trimmer and see if he can get them to look lower by not adding any foam padding across the top fram of the seat.

As you see the driver seat in this pic it is bolted in and has all the padding across the top of frame, it adds approx 1.5-2 inches in hight (sic).

The Monaro makes the Cobra look even smaller.

Dave,

I was on the yellow colour theme before changing to black at last minute.

I was looking at Nissan 200X and Maranello yellow as alternatives to Monaro yellow.

Get your spray guy to do a few sample panels and compare.

There is a yellow Monaro around here that has fawn stripes. Sounds bad but looks good.
