Default Ford Diff Additive for CR's

After having had many different stories from Ford dealers and the Mobil web site. I shot an email to Ford Australia asking what they recommended and how much of it to put into the AU Series III, LS IRS Diff.

Well the word from Ford is to put 100ml's of the additive, added when you fill the diff back up. This is the mod that is done and they put the metal tag on the diff fill plug. If any of the CR guys who are about to go down that path, let me know and I can give you the the Ford part number you need. Really expensive though. 100ml's of the stuff cost about $48.

Hey Sloth, It stops diff chatter and the whining noise, I am sure we have all heard in Cabs. It is a friction modifier and apparently stops all these noises, and it absolutley stinks !!

To stop chatter and whining noises I suggest not taking the wife out in the Cobra.

I couldn't resist
