Here's the first thing I did. Bolt the rear lights on, start with the easy stuff first
It sure is an exciting time.

Nationals!! Im going to struggle just to make space in the garage! I Think she may have to spend its first few weeks in the in-laws garage away from her daddy.

Its not my fault...everyone said it would be 6 months. So its 2 months early. I only told the misses I actually ordered it 2 weeks ago. (she took it surprisingly well - post baby bliss perhaps?). Isnt she going to find it exciting.

Question...Just how much does the chassis and body weigh? Either can be lifted with 4 blokes?

Tenrocca, congrats mate. Being the proud owner of a bouncing CR chassis myself recently it's a great feeling.

When Pete and I got it home, the body was a 4 person lift, purely for manouvering reasons. 4 people can lift the body quite easily.

Chassis is also a very easy 4 person lift. I say person, cause one of my 4 people was my flatmate, who is of the fairer sex. Actually chassis is probably a 2 bloke lift. It does not stay that way for long though. We have the back end in now and I can not budge it.

Bugger, now we really need some spark in the back line.

Your gonna hate this. I am off the Bledisloe on the 13th. You may even hear me singing Waltzing Matilda from your place.

Tenrocca

Well done mate. You will have a good Christmas holiday project there.

Don't worry about not telling your wife - mine still thinks I'm storing the Cobra for someone else..

Another dark side member. Told ya, they breed like bluddy rabbits.

Tenrocca, congrats mate.

Now, take no notice of what Leeroy said. First thing you gotta learn is how to keep two sets of books so the missus doesn't find out what you're spending.

Cheers

When I lifted mine (4 guys) I unbolted the chassis from the body and took the body off first
Then moved the chassis to where I needed it.

Tenrocca,

Congrats. It'll be a good day when the combo arrives.

I have a timber frame you can have if you like. Its on wheels and at a height that makes putting in the suspension a non back breaking excercise.

When you want to lower it to the ground you just set fire to the legs No thats not right bloody alzheimers

Hope you enjoy Ians manual read. Only takes a few minutes

Phil
