Good luck, enjoy the bug! The bank balance loves it....plus the cars have an amazing effect on scantilly clad women!

I guess I dont have to start with the best on the block. If I get one it will be with the idea of keeping it for several years, so I guess there is no reason why I cant mod and improve as I go. It hasnt stopped me with my XR6T

PS. I wont show the wife the bit about scantily clad women

Luke.

If you are motivated enough, there are always engine alternatives...

How about Saleen Mustang injected 351w? These have appropriate emission
compliance for rego in some states here. Saleen also did a supercharged 351w.

Not sure if a deal could be struck. But Superformance have an ADR compliant 347 stroker.

And you could always look into options with gas...

Default update

Heh Rens, I will give my photo gallery a big update once I get back from OS in April. By then the interior will be done and the car well on the way to having the engine and exhaust work completed. Stay tuned.

Hi guys,
If anyone from here dropped me an email, please send it again. My computer thought it was spam and deleted it.

OK, I know I am shopping for a 427SC, having had a friendly kiwi explain the differences in body types for me. I didnt know there were so many variations.

With this in mind, is there anything else I should look for or consider?

Why I say this is because of this link over on my regular forum:

It appears that you have to be a member to access this site.

Most kits these days appear to be based on the original 427 Shelby car.

Sorry, you are right.

Anyway, the gist of the post was:

289, a pic and details

427

427SC

427R

289 Lemans

Hardtop

Lemans Hardtop

Daytona Coupe

The thread has pics of each car and made it really easy for me to understand the differences.

Thanks Luke!
That was informative.
I knew that all those existed but never really thought about it-if you know what I mean.

Doug Pearce is a man full of knowledge about Ac Cobras. I've had my car modified by the man, and his great bloke too.
