Hi mate,
Just arrived back at Phoenix an hour or so ago. Thanks for the thoughts for my birthday.
We headed up to Santa Barbara for the big show there. Ended up staying there with the San Franciso Bay gang. It was great so we stayed on and attended the street cruise and show.
Twelve city blocks long with over 500 cars and bikes. Its was amazing.
Over the weekend Steve - Mulv on the forum - took us to a few auto show rooms and bike showrooms.
Will post a few photos when I get the camera sorted.

Just got home, myself! Been busy with the kiddo's with piano, baseball and Scouts. Monday's are busy!
Glad Knott's was good, and that sounds like a HUGE show!

Yes would be ideal to catch up.
The time has flown since I was there in Indiana at the Run N Gun.
WTCOBRA -Wayne's son and nephew came over to see us in Australia and stayed for a few weeks. I caught up with Wayne and the guys in Evansville on the way to the London Cobra show.
Wayne was asking me to get over for the next Run N Gun.
Will see how I go as I have just locked in S.E.M.A at LV in October/November with my son Todd. Providing he stays out of my Cobra whilst I'm away..

SEMA, and run n gun are in October this year. THEN come stay with ME (ok, Jay, I'll share) 
Anyway, hope it all works out for you and Todd in Oct.
Now you gotta make Tulsa in June '07!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm SURE Jay or Clois will let you borrow THEIR cobra's to take on the track at Hallett, or to run the drag strip.... I'll be BUSY driving my own so I can't share.

Seriously, I will aim to get to Mid America next year as you suggested. As I have Todd with me in October this year, I'll probaly fly into LAX and stay at the house in HB. Then head over to S.E.M.A.
Time allowing I'll try and go back to Clinton OK. to show Todd the Rt.66 museum. We'll see.
