Got a woody
HI Mando
very nice, the Darksiders just don't get it do they. I notice some fittings on the rear water passage on your heads, are you running a crossover or??????? Phil |
Those look like a set of motorcycle flatsides...maybe Keihin CR's. I always thought a set of similar carbs would work great in this type of application. Let us know how it works. There's a company in the U.S called Sudco that can generate needles and jetting for about any application.

Beautiful set-up. Gives me a chub just looking at it.
|
Clois, Whats a chub?? ;)
I think Mando beat ya too it Clois....looks like his undies under the steering link? %/  |

I certainly don't mean wet dream in a bad way here.
It's a Morrison Cross Ram injection setup that I believe was originally developed for the V8 Super Car racing engines. Also if you look closely at the front of the motor you will see the nice billet crank triger setup for the EFI. Cool stuff. |
At least I only thought about it. Apparently, he has gotten up close and personal.
Still, a beautiful setup. You guys down under certainly come up with some creative additions to this forum. I like the way you think! Clois |

Last nights conversation with the misses went something like this...
"Hey Hun, take a look at this engine" "Wow...whats beautiful, even I can appreciate that...whats your engine going to look like?" {I show pisc of LS1 now}....Long pause then....... "Oh......" "Yes, but we dont have to sell one of the children to pay for it" Very nice mando. :D |
Wow...
What a beautiful sight...
Nice Work... :D Cameron |
Whose intake is that? And do they make a Cleveland or better yet a CHI?
However, when it comes to well dressed engines, how about this one destined for an FFR Coupe: http://a5.cpimg.com/image/B5/26/5682...-02000180-.jpg http://www.ffcobra.com/ubb/ultimateb.../t/070934.html |
I can believe I'm saying this but those webers should be polished too!

Hi Boxhead, I got approval a couple of years ago from Motor Reg in SA that if I built a motor using a list of components I specified, that would meet 2001 ADR emisions when tested, they would register it. The list just happens to include a 347 strocker, throttlebodies and Motec A800 management. The only drawback of this plan is that I must use testing facilities that they endorse. There one in Sydney that charges $95 per test or Mitsubishi in SA can do the test but they charge $3000 per test. Go figure.
Philm, the blue fittings at each corner of the manifold are water points for the motor and the braided hoses are vacum lines from each of the runners that will be plumbed into one fitting. Ive used braided so they can be converted to Nitrous in the future. Rebel 1, my undies are bigger than those. The work thats gone into the purple motor is extreme, that really must have been a labour of love. The end result is awsome! Regards Mando. |
