Default 120+ Members Show Up for June QLD Cobra Club Meeting

Had the QLD June Cobra Club meeting this morning at Sanctuary Cove. Breakfast at the cafe, followed by the usual chit chat around the cars.

We actually had over 120+ people there for it. (Which is a new record crowd).

28 Cobra's(actually down from previous meetings as cold weather persuaded a few to drive tin tops).

4 GT40's

1 Go-Kart(Lotus 7 Clubman)

Then run and lunch at the Broadwalk. It warmed up nicely, beautiful weather, what a great day.

A work of art.

Now this is one very serious and very expensive Ford small block in a Robnell. Glad to see it at the Breakfast this morning.

To All, especially Matt, Pete and Cameron! Sorry I didn't turn up on Sunday, especially seeing it was a record turn-up. Unfortunately a busy night at the restaurant meant I couldn't finish work until 2am and a 4:30 wake-up just wasn't an option. ( I admit I did set the alarm, woke up,rolled over to the wife, mumbled something under my breath, and promptly went back to sleep). As penance I promise this week to finally publish some photos of the cobra. I am a definate for the next meet in July though. Going to stay at the Gold Coast on the Saturday night and head to the Cove on the Sunday morning. Has anyone got any photos of the June Sunday meet?
Once again, apologies to all, I was looking forward to meeting you all
cheers Dave

Default Sunday Breaky!

Dave, shame you didn't make it mate! Was an awesome turnout! Must say though that I used you as an excuse as why I had to leave the said "sleeping beauty" on her lonesome. I was late, as it was hard to crawl out of a cosy warm bed but shucks, sometimes you just have to make sacrifices!

Oh the sacrifices I make for the VENOM!

See you next month!

P.S. I did actually see a double hooped blue 302 at the meeting and wondered if it was yours but we do a welcome to newbies at the breaky and your name wasn't mentioned so I thought you mustn't have made it!

SpookyPT

MATT
