Default Beyond 2000

Anyone see Beyond 2000 last night? Had a good segment on Kirkham Cobras.

Can you imagine the amount of Brasso it would take to polish that copper Hot Rod?
Interesting to note that they are not made in the States.

Yep, was some comment over the Kirkham thread last night.

Default mmmmm... polished

A guy at work brought in a recording of that segment for me.

The cars look sensational and - surprisingly - the presentation seemed like a fairly good precis of the Kirkham deal.

Unfortunately the recording is 210,833kb so uploading it will be a problem.

If I can reduce it in size I'll let you know otherwise you might just have to make it to the Vic meeting one night to have another look

Heres a link to the story

http://www.beyondtomorrow.com.au/sto...umroadste.html

After the show last night they said the story could be downloaded in full from this website. Buggered if I can find the link.

Found a link to the show elsewhere on this site. Picture quality is a bit shabby.

Hi all,

I had the opportunity to both see and drive the aluminium Cobras in the States. The Kirkhams are well made and look great.

They are made at a re opened aircraft factory in Poland - often referred to as the Mig factory.

I had the opportunity to sit in and play in "Jamos'' Cobra off the forum here. Check his Cobra out on his gallery/site. There were also two other examples there. One painted and the other highly polished with painted stripes.

Interestingly enough, the aluminium finished puts an end to that often asked question..."is that real or a kit?"
