The fun begins....
Picked up the car yesterday arvo - when I got it home I pretty much just looked at it and thought, "where the hell do I start?"
John from Woodsies windscreens rang this morning and told me the screen was ready to pick-up (I ordered it a couple of weeks ago).
So this picture represents the start of a long journey...
I made these wheel dolly's up last weekend, they're not as flash as Go-Jaks but they weren't too expensive and I needed to practice my welding.
They work a treat too with the Cobra, because it's so light it is very easy to move around!!!

Woohoo, congratulations, I'm quite impressed with the G-force. They make a really nice body.
But... I'm not really impressed with the bonnet stay.
and.... what's that lump of alloy sitting in a cardboard box?.... you are gonna dump that aren't you.
What rear end you gonna use....Jag?.
Cheers and congrats again.

Unfortunately LS1's don't make very good boat anchors, I do know of some motors that do though...
I bought a roller so it has the Jag rear-end already installed, I did "up-spec" the centre though....

Have fun Plums
The 'where do I start?' question goes away after a while, replaced with 'how do I pay for that?'

Congrats Bob. Lots of fun ahead of you.
I don't reckon much of your cardboard roll bar though.
Did the brakes go on OK?
Cheers

Hi Plums,
Looks great. Have fun with your build. I know I sure am
As for oyur bonnet stay, I know that if I got caught using one like that, it might get inserted in palces I'd rather not think about

The cardboard rollbar meet ANDRA specs, (SFI-000) and also doubles as a rocket launcher (MIL-SPEC:00-WTF)...
The brakes went on no worries, Rob was pretty impressed with the rotors too!
Having no missus, a bonnet stay was the only useful application I could think of for a mop, what are they supposed to be used for?
