Hi, I'm only new here as well, but I was just in at Python on Saturday, and had a chat to George about his cars, and once he got over the fact that I wanted to put a LS1 in it, he was more than happy to explain all the details of his cars, and what sets them apart from others (no doubt all kit manufacturers do the same). I was impressed that he at least spent about an hour going through what I was looking for, and not necessarily flogging his wares.

Basically he said kit was made from scratch. The frame itself was tubular, and the joins appeared to be in good order, and certainly looked strong to say the least!

I also got the story of the special order left hand drive for Mr Schumacher......

I have heard from another person, not on this forum, who said the same thing.....

I stopped into Python when shopping for my kit. Frankly, I copped an ear full.

G'day Willow & welcome to CC. The only other local cobra builder in Melbourne is RCM (if you haven't already checked it out). However, Schumacher unfortunately didn't place an order!

I’ve been building kits for around 15 years, (RC 62kits, lorrie60, RMC 300, DRB 350, and Harrison 60 etc, etc. say 2500 Aust wide it wouldn’t put a big didn’t into a population of 25 million) And after a while you do get a bit sick and tired of hearing the same old sh1t. I have $20k, now build me a car, or I’ve seen it at this guys place (LETS COPY IT), George dose have a bit of an attitude but he is the longest builder of cobras in Australia.

He makes more money from the workshop, or repairing or selling a hog than putting up with the dribble that comes out of the drooling folk that drag across his factory floor.

We are all passionate about our cars, we build, breath, and sh1t them. After a while it’s a bit hard to keep the smile up??

Had a few beers, good stuff to read thou.
