Default BROCKY RIP - very sad news

Just herd the news, Peter Brock has been killed in a car accident while driving in a rally in Western Australia.

He was driving with Mick Hone in a Daytona Coupe when he hit a tree in the Targa West rally.

I think the irony here is that the American Peter Brock was one of the designers of the original Daytona in the 60's wasn't he?

For those overseas, this is not Pete Brock, designer of the Daytona Coupe, but Peter Brock, "King of the Mountain", driving a Daytona Coupe replica.

Your right Schipps, he was a team driver and all round hot rodder. He had a big hand in designing/building the Daytona's even though Shelby was doubtful(thinking they should have a profesional design it), he let him run with it.

this week marks a sad time in australia heroes. Frist we lost Steve Irwin and then Peter Brock. RIP we will miss you both.
