Show & Shine will feature club member's Cobra's, GT40's & Daytona's.
When: 25th November
Time: 9am to 1pm
Where: Corner of Shore St & Gordon St, Cleveland
Trophies donated by Venom Cobra's(Scott Hampson - OzVenom)

Categories:
People's Choice voted on the day
Overall 1st, 2nd, 3rd
Overall other than Cobra
Best paint
Best Interior
Best engine bay

I think as a club we should get right behind this. Would be fantastic to have a professionally judged Show & Shine for the QLD club. Lets hope we can turn it into an annual event.

As the Four Tops once sung - I'll be there
As it's 5 minutes away from home at least the Cobra will be looking smick when it arrives. Fuel bill will be pretty low too.
Will be looking for the shortest trip award - may be hotly contested with a certain yellow GT40!
Only downside is that there is pretty limited parking unless they close the car park off.

I expect they will be closing off an area big enough for all our cars.

So if I fly down to Brisbane and go to the painters, and put my car on a trailer and pull the unfinished Cobra down to Coventry Auto, the 'Encouragement Award' will be mine! Ha ha ahha (Evil laugh)
Or I could just leave it at the painters and keep looking for Pamela Anderson's email address for Spook.

Hi Craig, just registered and trying to work out how to use this forum.
I'll talk to you about this show and shine, so we can make sure we get plenty of support for Scotty.

Hi guys
I have just finished getting the judges organised for saturday they are all from the car industry and non members so i am hoping for unbiased judging . With new judging format to try and make it fair for all entrants .
Plenty of givaways too.
Though i did point out that cars with yellow stripes get an immediate 50 point deduction.
There will be heap of free drinks. (nonalcaholictype).
and i belive pizza and drinks at mr craigs where the beer esky will come out.
I hope you can all make it .

Hopefully, we have some pics
Reducing 10 MB photos to 40 KB takes some time
Tim's GT40 - Widest tyres 335 and Peoples Choice
[/IMG]
Paul's GT40 - Best GT40
[/IMG]
Pete's Cobra - Best Engine Bay & 1st Place Cobra
[/IMG]
People's choice for Pizza & Beer (Oh and my Cobra)
[/IMG]
And a few more cars on the drive
[/IMG]
Hope these are working
And finally a pretty fast Cobra parked on the Street
[/IMG]
And the best moment....................
A Ford Courier Ute with a V8 Lexus and NOS leaving at full speed in a cloud of fog for the next 600 metres. As the guy said across the road - WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT.
Go the FORDS
