Default Who's going to the Noosa Hillclimb this weekend?

I'm heading up to Noosa on Saturday for the hillclimb. Anyone care to join me for the trip up there?

Hi Craig, I had planned on racing this year, had the entry form all filled out. Then as you may have heard on teh way back form the Nats tehc ar came loose in Scotty trailer and rubbed so I have spent the last 6 weeks repairing it! I HATE PAINTING!
Still putting it back together and I have to use the car in a wedding this weekend now so I will miss the racing and maybe the wedding if I don't pull my finger out!

Yep. I heard the annoying news....
I'm taking the Super Duke up there - at least I can walk around with a helmet so that I feel like I fit in with the racers.
Good luck with the wedding deadline!

Craig,

Great track for losing weight!!!

Walk down first and then hire a cab for the return trip.

May be a bit greasy this weekend due to the rain - may prove pretty exciting to watch - Enjoy!

I know what you mean about the slippery track Peter. That's why I'm going up early in the weekend, so that I see the cars before they end up buried into the safety barriers.....

Talking ShelbyFest!

Cam, Scotty is right...yes a little bitten by the racer bug...I'm busy getting some new wheels and tyres so as I can save my grooved slicks for da track! Now i'm busy buying myself a trailer so as I can drag the beast around. Will tow it with my ute like Ash and Warwick.

Yeah the damage was a pig but hey, could always be worse. I finally got to see how good my repair work went in full sunlight on the weekend.. Needs a bit more polishing but it'll be OK. It was never a great paint job by me in the first place..

ShelbyFest is doubtful mainly because I am heading off OS next year for 3 months on a big surfing adventure so time will be precious. I have booked my tickets for the Nats though so I will be there... Shelbyfest will just be too much to squeeze in one year for this little duck..

I'm sure Scott would be more than happy to keep the car warm on the track
