As Napoleon Dynamite says..............Awesome Dude.
I see it is at Yatala - Are you driving it home - Call in for a beer on your way back!!!
I hope that sccop is well glassed. Mine started to crack (at high speed of course). Stopped it cracking right out by fitting mesh to its mouth.
Well Done Blair - Not far off!!

Blair,
My wife and I stop in the GT40 shop last March while we where down under, we live in the NW USA west of Seattle Wa. Enjoyed stoping at the shop and was thinking about doing a GT40. Had a little fun with weather <Larry> as it hit Qa. wind speed 180mph and 26 inchs rain. Had a great time hope to get back someday.

Thanks for the kind words fellas.
PCC I am going to drive her the 1900kms home as soon as she is done (weather permitting). I normally do it in a day, however if you serve ice cold ginger beer I'll drop by. That and I reckon my bonnet scoop will probably be flapping in the wind. If it comes off the supercharger may be going on a little earlier then expected. I'll bring that with me just in case.
Just hope that 26 inches the Andy is talkin about doesn't find me on the way home.

Hey Blair,
I was down at the factory last week & saw your car.
The paint job is excellent, you should be very happy.
Like DBN04 said, those deep dish mags on the rear look
the goods.
Good to see another Qld cobra getting closer to rego.
Regards
Nick

Blair,
Paint job looks fantastic, haven't had a chance to catch up with you in Cairns yet, but hopefully soon. I still haven't decided on the RCM as yet.

Yeah right Blair, you be careful driving that far in one sitting.
I drove up in April as you are aware and it took me 2.5 days to get to Cairns.
I stayed first night in Rockhampton after 8 hours drive from here.
Townsville the second night before a late morning start to Cairns.
Arrived Cairns about midday. Total about 20 hours driving.
Driving to Cairns from Brissy is equivalent to driving from Brissy to Melbourne. Damned is I'd do it in a day.
Keep in mind that at this time of the year the roads are chokers with Sydneyites and Victorians, all pulling their fiberglass/alum sleeping quarters.
If they could drive it wouldn't be so bad but sheeezzz....it sure is a pain to get stuck behind them.

Hi Blair,
I assume the holes in the back are for speakers behind the seats. I've thought about doing that too. Curious as to how audible they will be? Maybe some big bass speakers will make the seat vibrate
