Where would you look to find a 427SC replica for sale in Melbourne? I have checked all the usual mags and web sites but aren't having any luck.

Any suggestions?
Thanks,

Luke

Luke

The club magazine generally has a couple of ads. And they do turn up in the major web sites & classified. Also, there is good chance that you'll get someone contact you as a result of the thread.

Take your time. Don't limit yourself to Melbourne, got my kit from WA and had it shipped to Vic.

Personally, if I ever do this again I wont be limiting my search to these shores.

Hi Luke, have u tried Unique Cars and Just Cars??? There are always a few in those but u may have to travel to see the cars. Also contact Shannons and see if they have any coming up in their next auction. A local guy down here just picked one up for 24k and although it needs work he's got a damn good starting point.

Default Where to buy

Luke,

Checkout current unique cars Pg 181 - DRB with all the bits and soft top $40k (Qld) and Pg 242 - $59k (Vic) not sure of make and extras.

Also keep an eye on www.carpoint.com.au I have seen up to 8 cobras for sale at certain times of the year. Bought mine through "All American" in WA. They advertise through Unique also. I watched my car in Unique Cars mag for several months and waited until it dropped in price.

Other options are get in touch with the local builders here in Vic. Laurie Bongailas - RCM, Doug Pearce Engineering, Kenmer engineering, Python etc they may have or know of cars for sale. Otherwise call the intersate builders they may also know of cars for sale.

Good luck.

Cheers

Tony

Don't restrict yourself to Vic. Airfares are cheap and we all know where the best Cobra's are. So book a flight to QLD. And they are relatively easy to transfer, be a few people in the Vic club that have transferred Cobra's from interstate.

A couple listed on the QLD Club Site, but you've probably seen them elsewhere.

Also we really need a price range.
