Default Wiring Diagrams

A few people have been asking me about my wiring diagrams. I had some in my gallery and had posted them in the past but they were lost in one of the site crashes.

I finally found them on my PC and thought I'd post them again.

Here's the Lighting diagram:

Here's the Indicators and Hazard lights.

I'm still working on these diagrams and have the EFI wiring, Ignition, Instruments etc to go. I'll get them done eventually of only to keep records of what I've done.

Cheers

Great work Mike

What tool did you use to draw the diagrams. I have done mine using an application called DesignWorks Lite. It is available at the following site:

http://www.capilano.com/dwlite.html

I found it particularly powerful as it allows the creation and reuse of devices as required.

I do a lot of training slides and presentations for work using Power Point so I used it for these drawings too. There are plenty of much better packages for this sort of stuff but I know my way around power point so it's quick and easy.

Power point lets you draw something and then group all the elements together. You can then drag and drop it any where or copy and paste it as a single object.

Cheers

Mike, these look good.

May I suggest a mechanization of the systems. It is how we design the electrical for cars now and helps to determine what and what not are in the car. It is just a suggestion.
