Yep....thats quick ....but not as much fun as a Cobra.
The best Cobra dies 1.01....Ian pretty....definitely not on Strret Tyres.
There are two Cobras ....both street legal that would match that time....says a lot for their driving skill considering the basic deficiencies of a Cobra
Its all about having fun and thats one thing a Cobra gives loads of.

Deficiencies being... traction at the rear? What else? I'm genuinely interested Phil as I'm about to build one!

Sambo.
Aerodynamics, wheelbase could be longer, wind noise......but the most fun you are ever likely to have on the road or track.
You wouldnt buy a Cobra if you wanted the best handling track weapon around.
Looks like you have chosen a Harrison......you wont be diappointed as they have a proven track record and great before and after sales service.

Thanks Phil. It won't see a lot of serious track time - good rubber isn't cheap - but it's nice to know the Harrison performs well. Although I think the operator might be the weakest link for a while

Getting excited
HI Peter,
We are staying at the quality Hotel wangarratta.
Is Stef and Geoff coming?
I have to put the rear end back in this week end and get a wheel alignment next week before we go.

Looking forward to my first Shelby Fest
I fully expect to post the slowest best time
(if my practice on Good Friday was anything to go by)
Anyone care to speculate on low/high times?

I think You and I will be fighting it out for the slowest time Michael. I don't care though, I'll just be thrilled to be there in my own car.
Cheers

Hi Lowbelly,
I think I will give you a run for the slowest time on the day. This will be the 1st time on a track for the car and driver so will be taking it easy.
Cheers
