Talking Answers

Lots of questions here is some answers,

The Engineer I used was Lakesedge 02 43530866 in North Wyong. In getting it passed the credit goes to Ian at CR. The time delay related to sending the paperwork to the NSW RTA to get a VIN number issued. There is only one guy who can issue a number by spending 20minutes looking at the paperwork and then issuing a number, however, he was unable to spend that 20 minutes and it took him 6 weeks and numerous phone calls and promises before he did it.

The two hours in the RTA was due to no one having ever done the rego on an ICV before. They made numerous phone calls and in the end said, "look we will just issue the rego and if anything is wrong I'll give you a call", pity they don't have my phone number and I do have a current label!

Driving is more fun today than yesterday, but I am still trying to get the balance right in the brakes.

At a 110 on the flat in 6th with Ian's working side pipes the Tacho sits at about 1200, Other than under decent accelleration it is easy to carry on conversations in the car. Other than the men in blue side pipes have little disadvantage.

Had to set the tacho as a four cyclinder to get it to work properly. For some reason the Corvette motor requires this setting.

Drove my daughter to school this morning, everyone came over, and one of the teachers suggested that the car might be a bit of a distraction to the kids and they would not settle into their morning classes! "DRRRRRRR"

I will now take her to school every chance.

Cheers SNKBTE
