You have built your car so quick, the others are probably still looking for suspension bits!

Pretty sure Ian randomly issues chassis numbers so you may be an orphan

Hi Slow427,
As I mentioned, I think I'm still a fair way behind you. I'm only a little past rolling chassis stage. I've just recently got my radiator and header tank in and have cut holes etc for lights etc. There's a couple more progress shots in my gallery. Do you have any updated pictures????
All the best,
Luke...

I agree with Mando Luke.
Can I ask where you got the radiator filler/overflow from?
I need one for my car.

Boxhead, I have the drawings for it and am going to be getting one made as well. It looks great, let me know when you are going ahead and he may do it cheaper for a run of them.

Thanks Mando/Boxhead,
The radiator and header tank have come up a treat.
Philn put me onto the guy who did the work and he has done an absolute pearler of a job.
Here's another closup of the header tank.
As Churchy mentioned I have passed my sketch onto him. If you like I can forward it to you as well. Just send me a PM.
All the best,
Luke.....

Is that cap a pressure type cap for the cooling system?
I.e like a normal cap that opens to relieve pressure at a set kpa?

Hi Boxhead,
The cap you see is just a billet cap which will be stuck on top of a pressure cap. The billet cap is really just to dress things up a bit.
I still haven't purchased the pressure cap yet. I must admit I was confused by the numerous different pressure ratings available. Can anyone here comment on how to determine what pressure rating I should go for

The master at work
HI Luke,
car looks great so far.
Shauns custom alloy is the guy who did the radiator, his work is excellent you may have read some other acolades I have posted about him, he lives about 30mins from my place and has been invaluable in getting my car to where it is.
He has done work for Phil Neall and others.
His prices are about the same as PWR but you get a radiator that is 100 times better in fabrication and finish. He uses PWR cores. A radiator fron Shaun would not be out of place in any decent car show, one of the best welders in Aluminium i have seen.
His number is 0404 295 199.
Highly recomended.
Sorry To hijack Paul, but I am your father CR3175.
Be good to your mother.
