Default SHELBYFEST Results

What an Awesome Shelby weekend.
As I’m sure you can understand calculating all the Shelby results during the weekend is quite a job.
Tony and I were up till 11:30 Friday night sorting all the entrants by lap speed for the Saturday sprints, not as easy as it sounds when you have a few double drivers.
That night we also decided to calculate the regularity event over the whole day instead of just the afternoon laps. We modified the excel spreadsheet to calculate the larger number of laps.
After reviewing all the results from the weekend we found a boo boo, the reg factor was calculated on the difference between the fastest lap and the average of the 12 slowest laps. It should have been (Average 12 fastest) - fastest lap.
The trophy holders from the weekend will stand, and we will also issue trophies to the winners of the corrected reg factor event. This did slightly effect the over championship points as well.

Listed below are the official results from the 2007 Shelby Fest.
If you didn’t receive your trophy on the weekend, we will hand them out at the next Vic meeting or post interstate.

I would like to thank everyone for their kind words for Tony and myself, on the forum, via email and by phone.
We are both glad to here that all the hard work is appreciated.

Thanks again to Jason, Tony and all the sponsors and helpers. Any chance of lining up Elvis again for 2008?

Thanks Cameron. I figure a sound preparation helps: copious beer and pizza for the Sprints and a decent red for the Motorkhana. I found that white wine prior to last year's Motorkhana was of no help whatsoever.

Thanks Phil and Leigh. Hope you're both back on the road soon. Seems Cameron was the only one to lay a glove on the Cougar. Beware the Cougar

You have far too much spare time.
It's time I taught you to fabricate and weld.
