Uncle Phil, ALUMINIUM !!! Spose if ya can't have an engine made of the stuff, you may as well use it for other things.

I know what ya done, rather than get cranky, you take a sniff of that every time an aluminium engine passes ya.

Default Spot on

Peter, More for the look at the moment, would probably have 12 months with the car before I use the gas.

Rebel1, you have hit the nail on the head, a calm and happy driver is a fast driver. Sounds like you have been on the gas, what aluminim things passing me I am still waiting.

Mmmm absolutely disgusting wasting gas and damaging and adding to our our green house emissions.

You should be ashamed of yourself...

Perhaps I need one of those nice mounts instead of this plastic "NOS" kit mount..

Only used it a couple of times. I have trouble driving it without using the gas...

Bernie, those red and black plugs on the rear look like a battery cut-off... how does it work? I've only seen a key device which 'breaks' the red wire.

They are to connect external power to the car, they're used in Drag Racing a lot...

Default I will take the hard road.

Peter,
I am not real sure yet but I would put money that the planetary gears are shot or broken.

I did not feel like getting under the car again so I have decided to take the body off and paint it.

That is the reason for the NOS I dont need it now but I will later.I am installing it now so that when painted I am not doing any major work to the car.

If all goes to plan it should be painted and back on the road end of July.

How is the "PIT CREW" say Gday to Lucky and Budgie for me.

Richard, I would only run about a 100hp shot when I am ready to use it. Should be fun.

Phil

Hey Phil
May need one of those Monster Truck diffs to handle the power.Lil ol'XR8 diffs seem to cringe and break now let alone when you give it some of that laughing gas! Default Sounds good.

Brett,
I am not sure I can make it to the drags this week end. Lots to do at home.

On your way you are welcome to drop in for a coffee.

Peter,
I am looking forward to the nationals, as Brett said we all had a great laugh.

We need to do that more often.

Phil
