Talking F100 1955 model

gday guys im currently looking for a 55 mod f100 to restore in between waiting for parts ,i have the option of free shipping from the u.s but have a cut off date in about 6/7 weeks ,can anyone adsvise of a site i could visit for such a thing thanks in advance

Does it have to be a '55 or is it the body style, which was used from '53 to '56 (although the windshield was altered from the '53 model later on), that you want? That's a pretty popular body over here and can give you leads on some of that body style...just not sure what year they are.

Aaah I can see the yellow '55 now with the Guardsman blue Cobra on the matching trailer behind.

Ken Miles and guys running around the Moon shop getting ready to go racing...

Nostalgia...don't you just love it..

Darrell, you will certainly find one in the Indiana, Illinois, Ohio area as the exporters don't get into central USA on their vintage tin hunts.

Look for a 56. It has the wrap-around windshield and the others don't. I'm a former owner of a 56, so my opinion is probably biased but I think it's the best looking of that models run. (with a 6 cylinder grill that is!)

yeah preferably a 55 but i might lean towards a 56 if i can find one
i got onto a site www.thepickupplace.com.au they have rollers from 6k or remanufactured rollers from 12k with new chassis and panels thanks for the replies
