Those Porsche boys seem to be pretty good negotiators. I hear they arranged to close the Great Ocean Road for a couple of days.
Anyhow Stiffy, any month except May-October would seem like good Cobra weather for a Tasmanian trip.
I had considered going alone but it would be a blast with a big mob of snakes.

Default Sounds good,

Rich,

I have a copy of the itenary somewhere I will post it when I can.
They are a big club and are very well organised, alot of lawyers and rich people with alot of time on their hands (ex Macca's owners most of them ) that should get a bite.........

I was in Tassie for Targa this year, the locals really get behind
this event (what else is there to do ) and I am sure half a dozen Cobra's would turn them on more than 40 souped up VW'S......

Lets see who else joins the discussion and we can take it from there.

Rich,

Sounds like a lot of fun. I am taking my youngest for 4 days 1st week July and its pretty cheap to get car & self over there at moment. (cos its so cold down there at the moment) Booking is easy on net. $79 car & $70 adult at moment.

When weather improves might need to book early. Never been there yet so I will enjoy the roads (albeit in a VW not cobra ) But would like to see who else is interested as I certainly would be.

I'd like to go. My wife has often suggested we go on a driving tour of Tassie.

Cheers

I would love to come as well (Cobra or not)

I have just decided that I am going to do a round trip, Sydney - Melbourne (via the coast) - Adelaide (via the coast) - Sydney (via the Hay plain). I could always make it 2 weeks and chuck in Tassie as well. Yipee !!!
