Default Semi Slicks

Its now time to replace my tyres and I'm pondering on buying semi slicks.

As the car isn't used in the rain - doesn't rain here anymore I'm not concerned about wet handling.

The Toyo RA-1 looks a pretty good buy.

With 16" wheels my selections are pretty limited.

Any recommendations or advise regards using semi slicks on a street car?

My 17's are Michelin Pilot Cup Sport. I only use them on the track. The ride is inferior to the 15's, they flick up stones and take a while to warm up. A bit of a pain on the street. Plus the thought of coming home in the rain on the 17's scares me witless!

Would you guys say that 15" wheels are ideal for the street? I know 15s are also the traditional "look" but my daily driver has 17s and I don't find them uncomfortable at all. Anyway, wouldn't your shock/spring setup dictate comfort to a larger degree?
