Stefan - nice transformation!

Incidentally, decent 35mm film still has more resolution than most digital cameras.

Default That is correct Lewis!

When he saw the Nationals pics and realised it was his old car he sent me an email telling me he was absolutely blown away and was "envious", great guy though, lovely family. He purchased a genuine 65 Hertz Shelby to replace the Cobra and was a little disappointed and said the Cobra was a much better car to drive (Dah!) and regretted the sale somewhat. I wouldn't be disappointed with a genuine Shelby GT 350, whats wrong with some people??

Lewis, these are the Goodyear Billboards from the states, crap on our roads (track all over the place) but great on even surfaces (wishful thinking on Australian roads) and great on the track (very soft, sticky compound)

Love the AK Lewis, when is it due here? What year is it and how will you go about registering it here? can't wait to see it!

Hi Stef Your Car Is Perfect. The Way A Cobra Should Be. My Car Is A 1987 Autokraft Mkiv ,was Sold New In The States And Went To Hawaii 9 Years Ago For A Fiftieth Birthday Present, And Lived In A Garage Most Of That Time. It Has 6,000 Miles On It, So It Is Like Brand New. I Will Probably Register It In Western Australia , Where You Can Rego A Car Left Hand Drive. Ship It Back To Melbourne And Take It Out On Special Ocasions. When The Suns Out.

Default Thanks!

Lewis, thanks for the compliment, just got back from filling her up! Will be at drivers parade lap for the V8 supercars this Sunday, got the usual compliments from all directions tonight, very humbled. Lewis, about your baby, did you get permission to import? This is very important and can you register a late model (ie: less than 30 years old) car in WA? If so, I will be keen to import something as well, maybe a Kirkham, keep dreaming Stef! Sorry, where were we? OK, my friend asked about this for a late model Cobra and was told that they check the manufacturer and go by when the chassis was built, when he told them who the manufacturer was (Backdraft) they called and got confirmation from them that the chassis was built in 06 and that they would not issue an import permit! It was "Titled" as a 1965. What I'm saying here is, great and good on you if you got all this and really look forward to seeing a real alloy bodied AutoKraft. (it is alloy isn't it??)
