Default Radical rego changes in NSW

Just read this in the local rag today. .. . .NSW minister for roads Eric Roozendaal announced that the current three year period of "No inspection necessary" will be lifted to Five years on all cars and light vehicles.
Vehicles that will be less than five years old on July 1 next year will not require a pink slip until they are five years old. This applies to vans and utes as well. (scary) There is also an option of having three month , six month or the standard yearly rego period. This will help owners to shuffle the timing & length of rego to suit their circumstances.
AAAAAARGH...... I wish that happened 4 years ago. mines been registered that long and still not on the road. ( the s#@t I go through each year to keep my car rego'd is not pleasant )
