Default Horn Location

Does anyone know of any rego compliance problems with the horn not being located on the steering wheel (i.e button on dash) ?
The kit is to be registered in WA.

Cheers

A lot of european cars used to have the horn button on the end of the indicator stalk. It might be a good argument for not having the button on the steering wheel.

Cheers

Default Fords the same

Lots of xd/xf falcons running around with the horn on the indicator stalk,,,

Going to move mine (XF column) to the middle and shorten the stalk.

I'd let Gav's type of comment go days ago but now that it's said, my hooting horn is on the wheel and my r@*#ting horn is when I drive the cobra too.

From experience you want a noisy warning blast usually at short notice and on the wheel is always the best place. Owned an 80's skyline once with horn actuation in the middle pad and on each of the three steering wheel spokes.

As a young bloke then, it was easy to reach quickly and was regularly used along with the bird!!

Time and sensibility tames us but there are still younger twits driving out there hence the need for a loud horn, in defence!!!

Go forth and be noisy.

Cheers
