I have learnt that 50/50 weight is wrong. Something to do with weight shift through braking and accelerating. Apparently the perfect weight distribution is . . front---52% rear---48% My little fat RMC weighs 1200 (so far) and has a spread of 53.3%-front and 46.6%-rear. It's 16kg too heavy in the front and 16kg too light in the rear. When its complete I will strive to sort the weight anomaly, but there is butt weight to consider as well.
